This fan-fiction is an alternate ending to the film whereby the wife Carolyn comes home with a gun and ends up killing Lester with Jane’s friend Angela as a witness. The would-be final scene has a misfire into a vase of symbolic rose petals, before Lester lunges at the gun and gets kneed in the testicles. On his knees, two shots are discharged into his body.
