Valkyrie (Movie)
This fan fiction gives you additional 10 minutes into the film Valkyrie starring Tom Cruise. Valkyrie is a story that took place in Germany's history during the time of the Nazi's and the attempts to assassinate Hitler. This large group of rebels was composed of officials and members close to Hitler that wanted to show the world that not all of Germany approved of Adolph Hitler’s goals and ambitions and were willing to do anything to remove the Führer(leader/Hitler).
This fan fiction is written in the time slot near the end of the movie where Stauffenberg had been captured and been found guilty of his betrayal. It is a fictional interview that took place between Nadia and Stauffenberg before his execution at the very end. It allows a peek into the mind set of Staffenberg as the victim instead of being the ‘hero’ that he was portrayed throughout history and in the movie. As the movie was based on a real event that occurred in history this fan fiction was able to express a view of what could have gone through his mind before his death.
Death Note (Animation)
Death note was a popular animation that ran for a year or so and 3 live-action movies have been released based on this animation. The animation talks of a high school student who one day finds a black notebook on his school grounds and inside it are instructions on how to use it. The word “Death Note” is written on the front cover and in the instructions it said any name written in this book would die at a time specified and in a method specified by the writer. The only requirement was that the correct name was written and the person’s face was clearly seen in the writer’s mind.
In this fan fiction the writer creates an additional character named Katsuko and she greatly admires the detective L and hopes that any day now L catches Kira as soon as possible. She is greatly opposed to Kira’s actions and talks to Light Yagami casually in high school in an everyday setting without realizing the dangers of her actions.
Tsukihime (Animation)
The plot of Tsukihime revolves around a descendent family of vampires. There is also a rival family that they had been fighting for years for power however in the final battle between the familes the Tohno family completely massacred the other family. With only a child left from the rival family the father of Tohno family adopted the child calling him his own without letting him realize it till he discovered the secret himself one day. This child eventually grew up to be known as Akiha’s brother while her real brother was cast out when the vampiric blood overtook him and he became insane and violent.
However in this fan fiction the author writes that both brothers were killed in the end and that the real Tohno Shiki was possessed by an evil soul parasite initially which was why he was so violent and sadistic and not because of his Tohno blood. When Tohno Shiki died the soul of the vampire got released into the world once more looking for another host to possess and the hunter Ciel is here waiting for that moment to kill it over and over in the hope of destroying the cycle of rebirth once and for all.
Rome (TV Series)
The long running series on TV was based on the real events that occurred in Rome during Gaius Julius Caesar’s reign and then Octavian’s (Later known as Emperor Augustus) rule of Rome. However the series itself brings in two additional characters who were fictional Vorenus and Titus Pullo and the series tracked their lives as it would have played out in Ancient Rome.
This fan fiction describes the thoughts of Gaius Julius Caesar’s relationship with the woman in his life and how he feels about them. In the woman he loves what qualities sets them apart and what drives their desire for him, why does the Queen Cleopatra who’s aged 21 love him so much? Why does Servila who’s not a woman of royal blood crave his power? Was her love for giving power to her son Brutus so great that she would do anything for him? Even at the price of selling her own body to a dictator?
Elizabeth (Movie)
The grand history of Elizabeth the queen is one for the ages and has been adapted into two motion movies winning countless awards. But throughout history Elizabeth was mostly known as the Virgin Queen so in this fan fiction the fan writes a what if situation for Elizabeth if she had indeed gotten married. And not to someone of high prestige that the officials would have liked. Instead of marrying a prince or king from Spain or one of the neighboring countries to unite the countries this fan fiction discusses the possibility of her marrying Robert Dudley, a nobody in the court’s eyes. The fan fiction focuses on opening up Elizabeth to the emotion of love instead of her rock image of being queen with her husband being England, the country itself.
The Day The Earth Stood Still (Movie)
This fan fiction writes about an alternative ending for this movie. It paints the alien Klaatu in a positive light after he realizes the weaknesses of humanity were actually their strengths. He willingly sacrifices himself to erase the grey robotic bugs that were destroying every single thing on earth. And the fan fiction also opens a new path for Klaatu to experience at the end to see if he had made the right decision by saving humanity.
Spongebob Squarepants (Cartoon)
This was a really good read as the fan fiction was written with the style and likeness of the show itself. Everything made sense in that it wasn’t out of the norm for the characters in the cartoon. This fan fiction is about a fictitious episode in which Spongebob spends a night at the Crusty Krab. A quick good read for fans of the show!
Parasite Eve (Game)
This was originally a game released for the Playstation 1 and the game itself was based on a book in Japan. Not much information concerning the background of the characters was given to players in the game. Even the game’s plot line itself was a bit confusing to players who had no knowledge of biology terns concerning cells, genetics and especially mitochondria and how it could be traced back to one woman, Eve. So in this fan fiction the fan paints a picture of what Melissa the antagonist was like as a child and when she decided she wanted to go into a career of acting and the reasons for her decision. It described what the mindset of a child was like and especially an innocent and fragile one at that.
A crossover with the TV shows Friends and Scrubs (TV Series)
What would happen if one day Elliot from Scrubs were to meet Joey Tribiani from Friends? Valkyrie Profile (Game)
This fan fiction sounds a lot like it was written about a student from the Harry Potter series but never quite made it on the big screen. Nonetheless it is about a mage from the game Valkyrie Profile, Lezard. Lezard’s motivations were always unknown, a mage that would quickly switch sides from one of justice to being a complete villain. This fan fiction describes the scenario of Lezard in mage school learning about experimenting with potions and just basically being a student before he became the mage. Everyone has to start somewhere so why not let this fan fiction start the life of Lezard in school?

David's FF links/ideas (6 to 10)
‘The Bad Were Meant To Be Broken’ – Breaking Bad FF.
This FF is a touch different in the way he creates synopsis’s for every episode which ultimately changes the whole storyline of the series – not just your usual FF episode. Although the writer hasn’t put a lot into it, so it kind of just jumps from one episode to another without any substance and doesn’t make much sense. But still a different idea/concept to FF nonetheless.
‘Five Times Lindsay Believed Michael Wanted Her’ – Arrested Development FF.
The FF writer has setup five scenarios between the two characters Michael and Lindsay. All of which are jovial and comedic with the typical Arrested Development banter. It is a touch weird that the five segments that are setup are one’s in which Michael declares his affection for Lindsay with the catchphrase ‘I want her’ as Michael and Lindsay are brother and sister.
‘Why Napoleon Hates Tina’ – Napoleon Dynamite FF.
This is a funny take into why the character Napoleon Dynamite in the movie hates his pet llama. The animal itself is in only one scene in the film, where Napoleon is clearly annoyed with Tina when he’s trying to feed her. Great little idea for FF in my opinion, but the actual story is a bit ridiculous.

‘You Sure About That?’ – Fight Club FF.
This is end dialogue for character Tyler at the end of the film. So FF for alternate ending, but not in actions or plot changes, just in speech. The movie Fight Club was extremely intricate, and one that you have to watch again to grasp the plot properly, so tweaks to dialogue and alternate ending is not surprisingly popular in FF.

This comedic take on the award winning action PC game re-tells the narrative cutscene at the start of the original game. This fanfic narrative turns the serious and mysterious elements from the original game intro and turns it into a comedic masterpiece. Although its simple, fans of the original game will get a real kick out of this.
Restricted Personal Only: Research Documents (Portal)
Veering off from the first person narrative of the original Portal PC game, this story takes the reader behind the scenes into the documents kept on Aperture Science’s previous test subjects (Humans). A somewhat comedic element has been added, to stay true to the original games original dark humour, but still enforces the feeling of dread and despair for the facility’s previous test subjects.

A side story developed from the original PC game S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of Chernobyl, tells the tale of a man returning to the dead land of Chernobyl many years after the nuclear disaster. The land is now occupied by specialist bounty hunters, collecting rare artifacts and keeping order in their own guerrilla war. The main character meets a couple of people along the way who assist him along his journey into the heart of the ghost town.
